Week #12 workout 3

  1. There is only two things I miss from my old normal: school and socializing. I don’t necessarily miss school but if I am to do school I think I need face to face interaction with my teachers. I don’t learn whatsoever online and I am easily distracted at home. I am someone who always has projects and plans in my head so honestly, I love not going to school because I have more time to enjoy the outdoors and try new things. However, since school is important to me it would be nice to have more of a structure in order to find motivation to complete my school work instead of other things. My social life is probably the thing I miss the most from my old normal. I love going out with friends to grab a drink or just hanging out. While I am very good at entertaining myself, friends are good way to let loose and feel good after a long day.

2. I really don’t miss the stressful and hurried lifestyle we all live in. I love how time is relaxed. During school I struggle to find time to go to school, complete my homework, work at my job and socialize. It feels like I always miss out on my days because I am so stressed with time I never have time to do anything for myself. I also really don’t miss working because I didn’t enjoy my work place.

3. Honestly, it is going to be almost impossible because all the things I don’t miss are things that I will have to do once things come back to normal because our society sucks like that. I could try and find a better job but for school it is just what it is. I could also try to incorporate some personal time for hobbies in my schedule but reality is I won’t have time. If I do I will be exhausted from all the stress.

4. All I can think to do right now is enjoy this time as much as possible and take advantage of it. I love it because I keep busy but by doing things I love. Usually I can barely wake up at 7am during school time because I am exhausted from studying until late hours the night before. Now, I wake up at 7am and use the morning to do all my homework and then enjoy the afternoon for workouts, the outdoors, hobbies etc. My schedule has never been more perfect! I feel the most healthy mentally and physically then I have been in a long time because school and work just exhausts me.
